I think i know what you were meaning, just getting the back sections re-done? I thought you meant the whole head, that makes a lot of sense creating smaller ones at the back.

There's so much info here on the site, i know it's generally easy to find what you type for but i will certainly be searing hard for previous articles about dangers of back combing and palm rolling. I just feel that the palm rolling helps them look neat for a few hours but i do wonder if this practice can be damaging long term.

Love the website brother, thanks again, i certainly want strong healthy dreads ;)

oh bummer. I know what you mean...i might just let them atleast mature but still a bummer knowing the sectioning is not as good as it should be. You were right to be suspicious that I didn't have many dreads for a full set of head. thanks for all of your help just the same :)

Hey I just posted some updated photos!  They are at one month with a full head, ive washed them about 4 times this past month, and they look really messy!  What do you think?

I just realised i can take better pics with my desktop, the back has some ridiculously large sections, do you think i should be concerned?

Sorry for the dandruff, I washed it last night but today i’ll wash again with tea tree mixed in the shampoo and leave on for a few mins.

Dang right Bro, that's freedom, not these 'privileges' they give us. Yeah patience is key, would be good if we had a festival like that in the UK.

Thanks again, can't wait to learn much more :)

yeah dreads will teach me self acceptance, fuck what this system's acceptable standards, corporate bull programming etc. I wanna live as monk but that been infiltrated also, self employment the way to go, peace brethren and many thanks once again, appreciate your being.

01/01/19 12:15:53PM @kenty:

True Bro, i will just let them bee. Crazy system we live in, can't beat nature, gotta keep on keeping on!

Kenty
01/01/19 10:29:55AM @kenty:

If i want to trim the back some time (because it's much longer than the front) do you think it's best to wait until they mature? If i trim the ends when they're still babies could that prevent them knotting up?

Kenty
01/01/19 06:05:51AM @kenty:

That makes total sense man, I was looking at just the dread to determine the size but that is not logical thinking at all lol.

There is a wealth of knowledge on this website, so glad i found it! I'll definitely see these ones mature but would love to switch to freeform in the future.

For now, it will be 'natural surrender'. hopefully they will get some more character in them further down the line.
