Tying hair to form dreads? please help!

Introduce Yourself

She doesn't twist so much, so it is kinda more like tying, I did twist and rip but I twisted a section about 3 inches then split 3-4 times. If you look at the TnR guide there's another video there too-- Twist and Rip Guide

Mad loose hair on the top of my head

Introduce Yourself

LOL...so I was gonna let you know what I thought of your use of the word gay, but I see it's been taken care of. CLICK ME Either you're hair is happy, or homosexual...and I don't see anything wrong with either ...Loose hair will be there no matter what, so accept it and love it :)

Do you ever foam your dreads?

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

the baking soda is what cleans, then you rinse away the dirt and then use the acv so it react with any leftover baking soda to neutralize it(moisturizing is a plus)...so it does react just not enough to foam :)

2strand twist

Introduce Yourself

You should look at the twist and rip guide(link at the top) you twist then split and it makes a few knots. Try that on the parts that you unraveled and see if it work better for you :)

feedback on this asap :)

Dread Maintenance

if you have to, use regular shampoo...just a little in your palm and make it sud a lot and rub that into your scalp then rinse with lots of water. It's not gonna make every single hair go straight, and if it loosens up it's no big deal they would have loosened up anyways :)

annoying natural dreads

General Questions

if you want to prevent dreads, brush your hair..lolHow long do you want to keep your dreads? If you only want them for a few months or 1-2 years, then year brush your hair till it's long enough to crochet......but if you want to have them for as long as you want, 5, 10, 20+ years, then wait till you're done with school if they are so strict. One year is nothing when you keep them for a lifetime
