knots in dreads

Dread Maintenance

loli was twirling them and after a good 20 minutes i realiZed i was twirling a huge lump after a while soaringeagle said:
knots are not good like interlocking they can cause breakage can u takere a pic can they be untied how did twirling result in knots?

greasiness
wash 1 day later then u think u should use hot wash very cold rinse heat makes oils easier to remove and cold closes pores
and between washes use a thyme tea sprasyed on the scalp and left on
washing 1 day less till u get to once or twice a week will reduce oil since oils produced because u strip away oils by over washing

knots in dreads

Dread Maintenance

so ive had my dreads for about 3 weeks now and theyve been doing fairly well althought alot of them are really loose near the top and my hair gets greasy at time and etc but a new thing that got me alittle paranoid was that i got bored yesterday so i started twirling my locks and in the process of it without realizing i made 2 huge nots on 2 different dreads will this do anything negative to my hair since the knots (no lie) are very big there the length of about a quarter or so and are pretty fat lumpscan someone tell me if this is bad or not and can someone tell me any ideas on how to get rid of the greasyness in my hair and when my frizzyness will be alittle more tamed lolalso a question SG told me that i never got the chance to answer him was that i rip and twisted my hair without any real sectioning so i have alot of fat and skinny dreads lol

is it bad to wash dreads everyday O__o

Dread Maintenance

so i have had my dreads for about 12 days and i wash them all the time (i just wash it with water) so the frizziness and bed hair look alittle bit more tamed then they would by any chance though is it a bad thing also ive only washed my hair with soap twice and etc.another question i have is although they look alittle bit more tamed when i got them there still very loose especially at the roots is this a good thing also if its normal when do you think they will tighten up

my go at twist and rip need some help on a few questions

Dreading Methods

so i did twist and rip 4 days ago and in my honest opinion i like em so far its just i probably messed up on it for instance1. i can personaly tell that most of em are dreads its just so frizzy that it just looks like untamed hair2. in the process of making them some have unravelled and i have alot of unravelled loose hair near the scalp and they are just dreaded either in the middle of the hair or near the bottom3. is this a problem or will my hair get better in a month or two

well idk if there actual dreads but i have like 2 of them that are like stuck together (if that made sense) and they feel like locks since by the way they feel they arent gonna come apart without a fight lol
and yeah i will seperate if they actualy start consuming one another lol
and is it normal for my hair to feel shorter

yes greasy hair slows dreading but can be dealt with, 1st off wash less often wioth something that wont strip grease and oils , in between washes spray scalp with thyme tea
slowly it will become less greasy u casn also sray hair not scalp wwith sea salt sprays
