Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

I've seen people with just one dreadlock. There are all different reasons. This person had cut theirs and kept one. Ive also had a friend with a dreadhawk... he chose to do it because he was cutting his and he left it a dread hawk for a while before fully cutting them. It must be hard to part with them after years. Elliot the singer from John Browns Body pretty much has a natural mullet... due to balding im guessing, but i think it looks pretty sweet. He definitely has some nice dreads. You too will bald one day and possibly have a dread mullet!!

I wash my hair every few days with normal head and shoulders shampoo.... I never have a single problem, no buiild up or anything just sweet smellin locks Ive been using normal shampoo for 7 years, never really tried anything else. That's just me though, I'm sure it will work out fine. Once you find something that works for you just stick with it, everyones hair type is different and products works differently.

I think it is best to have all different sizes, I have some that are skinnier, fatter, longer, shorter, weaker, stronger... the list could go on. They are never going to be perfect unless you aim to make them that way. Then I think they look too manicured and lack something.

No dreadlocks are the same size and shape... i think its great to have a variety both fat and small They are all beautiful!

It's all good. It's only one little dready! Some of mine have been weak the ends and have come off. Just grow it again.

General Talk

your going to get a lot of people saying both nice and mean things to you. You have to be stronger then that and just brush it off. A lot of people just don't understand it all. Don't even respond to the mean people. If they were your friends they would not care what your hair looked like... thats messed up. I've never lost a friend because of hair but if it were to happen i would definitely choose my hair over a friend because they obviously aren't a good friend. Things will get better! Just do what you believe in and it will all work out;
