Ok i hear people say that washing often speeds up the dreading process and helps the dreads shrink up and mature faster, but then i hear people say that washing too often hinders the process and undoes knotting. Ive been dreading for 9 months now and still dont have that much progress. Ive been washing every 2 days, is this too often? should i go to every 3 days??
glad you started. My only regret with dreads is that i wish i started earlier. i had wanted them forever, but finally got my head out of my ass and started the process
Has anyone on here tried taking Biotin? It says it promotes healthy hair and nails. I heard it makes hair grow much faster also, so im interested in getting some and just wondering if anyone has any experience with it

also im wondering would my hair dread faster washing every 2 days? or every 3 days? Ive been doing every 2 days for the past 9 months and my hair still is not even close to being fully dreaded

whenever you use it do you let it soak in at all or do you wash it right out? ive been letting mine soak for about 3 minutes
Hey guys. ive been using this shampoo for several weeks now and im just wondering if this is normal. It removes pretty much all the oil and everything from my hair and makes it pretty dry, which im OK with. But it makes it seem unhealthy i guess, its like my dreads have no life, they dont have the volume they used to. It looks like i dont have as much hair because it looks kind of flat. Is this OK? or should i switch shampoos? and if so what do you guys suggest?
