Im 9 months in right now. i wouldnt call what i have dreads, my progress is extremely slow. wondering would bleaching my hair speed up the process? i know it damages hair and drys the fuck out of it, but thats all good for dreading right? anyone here bleach their hair and notice a difference in the dreading process?

on the front right side of my head i have alot of hair follicles showing also, its because my scalp is bad there and always has been. I have no idea why, but i shed more hair there and more skin also.

i just got one of those bars and its great. How do you apply it to your scalp though? Im probably doing it wrong, i just rub my fingertips on the bar and then on my scalp. Is there a better way to make it suds up more?
Question about BS/ACV wash

Do you guys soak your dreads in water before applying the BS solution, or do you let your dreads soak up the BS solution? Ive been pouring the BS solution on without saturating my dreads in water first and just wondering if im doing it right.. Also do you guys put your essential oils in the BS solution or the ACV rinse solution?

ive never had strangers make negative comments, only positive which makes my day. But my dad frickin hates them. He thinks ill never be able to find a job after college. My arguments are useless against him, he thinks that everyone that has dreads is smokes crack and never washes. Mine are still messy though, so i hope he accepts them more when they are mature and look a little better

How often should i separate my dreads? I separate some of them everyday because they refuse to stay apart. Should i separate less and just let them do what they want or what? I just want them to progress
