bleaching hair

Im 9 months in right now. i wouldnt call what i have dreads, my progress is extremely slow. wondering would bleaching my hair speed up the process? i know it damages hair and drys the fuck out of it, but thats all good for dreading right? anyone here bleach their hair and notice a difference in the dreading process?

dry and damagesd are 2 diferent things bleaching might in some cases speed up dreading somewhat but might also make the hair extremely brittle and easy to break

if your thinking of bleaching to just speed up the process thats not a good idea at all

instead of trt=ying to speed up the processs why not start calling what you have dreads instead
