Help! Save My Dreads

So i should just go for it it and stop worrying so much

Yes try to embrace the changes. Control is something humans try to do so much. The less we try to control the less stressful it is. You'll have your up and down days. But in the end it will workout.

dreading is therapeutic

anorexia is ultimately about control, when they feel they cannot control anything in their lives except what they eat or don't eat it becomes the 1 thing they can control, till it takes control of them

anyways by letting go, dreading naturally and not feeling any need to control their hair ..letting it be uncontrolled they can let go of all the other things controlling their lives

i don't know how many anorexics I've met that would have died if they didn't start to let go of control and let their hair dread as it wanted to

i shake it out often but not like that just a gentle shake to get some of the drippies out

it would break my neck to try doing as you described haha

i just give it a gentle shake not even as much as a dog would do

Question on Washing Frequency and Using Deep Clean

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

13 isn't much you really won't find anything worth using any cheaper then that bronners is 15 as an example

anything cheaper then 13 is going to be toxic crap really bad for dreads

you could find 13 dollars walking 10 blocks in any city

some people can get 600 dollars in an hour panhandling

point is it isn't hardtop get 13 bucks for shampoo especially if its just once every few months

Question on Washing Frequency and Using Deep Clean

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

the dreadlockshampoo.com ones are big bars if you use a soap saver so they don't melt from being damp they last a real long time

Question on Washing Frequency and Using Deep Clean

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

i would, monthly might be ok for a few years but after seeing numerous people have severe weakening i really no longer recommend using it at all

the charcoal shampoo does a better job without being so harsh it turns your skin into a paste

no such thing as too much washing or rinsing

it's how gentle you are and not towel drying that matters

www.dreadlockshampoo.com is always best but bronners is okay as long as the water isn't hard

finally got this reply thing working! :D ok, sorry to interrupt folks but...so u really can wash regular but not do the towel drying? huh! because, i just happened NOT to towel dry last time, and Maybe it was more knotty? no wait! i didn't blow dry. ahhh confusing! but i sometimes have to wet my hair more often than i would like for new dreads, so i am curious what might be most effect for the next few weeks or months?? thanks

the more its  wet the better as long as it dries completely

if your hyper observant like i can be at times ..watch your hair as water runs through it

you will see the surface tension pull it together into sections

you will see if 1 single hairs not perfectly straight withal the rest it causes turbulence wich causes the hairs to be displaced from straight..and start to tangle, the more water flowing through your hair the more it tangles

towel drying one day might make it pretty knotty

but then another time completely erase and rub away 3 months of progress

bronners. I seen that here is Dr bronners hair

Rinse and also bronners castle soap. Which one do you use?

not the hair 1 the 18 in 1 magic soap..castile 1  diluted 12-1 or more 12 times more water then soap
