Day 22. Should I be doing anything else?

I was making sure this is how things are supposed to look like around week 3. I'm starting to feel some locking and I've been using the baking soda cleaning. A little palm rolling here and there and a few rubber bands. I spray them with the sea salt water. Is there anything else I should be doing at this point? I'm about to take the rubber bands out.

I had rubber bands in mine but I took them out. they were making my dreads look like crap and it could just be me but it did seem to not help the situation and if you think about it, it would prevent knotting... no bands! I wish I could find beads around here.. I live in hickville where I'm probably the only person these people have seen with dreads. All you get is. "Can I touch your hair" haha, ANYWAYS! I didn't get any use out of bands.

I went fishing last night and we had a fire going all night and it does seem to help. It makes mine dry and tighter it seems.

I'm not really sure what hard water is... I know my buddy up the street has water with lots of Iron in it and it'll turn his sinks and toilet and shower brown. but ours is different ours turns kinda blueish. we get our water from a spring. Its not well water but its spring water. There is a bottling company that actually uses water from this spring. Not sure if its hard water though

Sounds awesome. I'll have to try that tomorrow. I've been using stupid soap and uhh... yeah... time to use yalls little combination! sounds smarter and healthier. ANNNNDDDDD there is no more wax in my hair! Atleast I don't feel or see any residue. There was only a little applied once so it's mostly gone! Today is going on exactly 2 weeks and I'm actually seeing some locking progression!

Also I'm reading about what people wash their hair with and stuff... Looks like I'm about to go through some trail and error.. hah Looks like I need some sea salt spray, a wool tam, and find a good component to wash my hair with.
