African Black soap and Shea butter.. yaay or naay?

Dread Products

i swear by African Black soap! i use no other shampoo on my scalp and locs. i use this once a week on locs & body and rinse with water throughout the week. i use the shea butter mixed with vegetable glycerin, coconut oil & sweet almond oil. Only a little of each and only used as a moisturizer as needed.

Dread Maintenance

I wash about every 3-4 days alternating between african black soap & bs wash. I do an herbal tea rinse everyday.

Keeping them dreads covered

Dread Maintenance

I have to use a satin bonnet or silk pillowcase when I sleep or else I wake up with lint in all of my new dreddies. My locs are like a magnet for lint!

Is there anyway I can speed up the dreading process?

Introduce Yourself

I've been doing lemon juice rinses and using lemon eccential oil in my daily spritz and this is helping my dreads lock fast. I do not use sea salt as it aggrevates my scalp like something terrible but the beach water is great. :)
