Hey,Basically wondering if anyone had any good ideas or experiences products they've made really quick at home, easily. So homemade tams, good washes or sprays, or anything along those lines. I know about diluted dr. bronners and baking soda + acv; but like i've said, share all the best ideas and recipes. If everyone has an apple, and everyone swaps apples, everyone still has an apple. If everyone has an idea, and everyone swaps an idea, we all have lots of ideas.Hopefully everyone will be able to read this discussion and find out lots, we can all benefit, and learn something from each other.Jah Bless.

I was just thinking the other day that I wish my baby dreads were long enough to be a scarf. Can't wait till they are! It'll be so cool.

baking soda acv
sea salt sprays
teatree rosemary oils for dandruff
thyme tea for oiliness
strong thyme tea soak for mold
while vinager (3/4 cup to 1/4 cup water) and lavander oil for mold
jojoba for conditioning
t shirt sleeves for headbands
a t shirt pulled up over your head (so neck holes around hairline and dreads inside the shirt)n for keeping em outta the way while u sleep

dreads themselves can be a "dread product" if u use em asw a pillow when camping or as a scarf in winter

a ring u find on the street can be a dread bead

i cant think of any dread product that shouldnt be home made

including dreads themselves ofcourse

Anyone have any conditioning spritzes they've made? Today it snowed for the first time this winter and I'm afraid of my baby dreads getting too dry and brittle (they are 2 wks old today).
