Hi SE,
I am washing in quite warm/hot water, it is cold here, but the water is nice and soft
Hi guys,
I am very well aware of the bi carb wash and using it alone, I don't tend to feel so good about it.
So here goes,
For over 1 year now, I have been using the knottyboy liquid shampoo, usually justrinsingthen drying.,
As the winter drew in, I have added acv wash sometimes, with tea tree and rosmary..
This is still not helping myflakiness. So I am wondering if I should invest in some almond oil or get a Dr Bronners soap here

Which has a lot of lovelyingredientsin, Will this help do you think?
Cheers
I have been using knotty boy peppermint liquid shampoo, and have loved it to pieces for the last 8months.
Loosely backcomb will do nothing really, personally i would do the job properly, backcomb to make tight clumps of hair, or go completley neglet,
I liked the beenies [its acrylic here in the uk] However i now use a crotchet wool tam.
No one has mentioned sea salt spray!! the best thing i have dsicovered for dreads
i would just backcomb the ends, I do it when some come undone.
it wont blunt the ends, but make the pony tails dready
Man you lucky your hair is curly, my hair would not curl,,
to be honest i doubt if i went completley natural if my hair would ever dread :P,, feels that way sometimes
wohoo UK user,
hi man,
use around 30grams to 2-3litres of water, only put a drop of oils in..
i only use ACV every 3-4washes
i would LOVE shrinkage!! it is a definate indication that the dreads are dreading!
I started short [3-5"] and i am going to have them for the foreseeable future. that way i go on a complete journey of short to long
