Flakey/Itchy Scalp, switch to DR Bronners?

Dread Maintenance

Hi guys,

I am very well aware of the bi carb wash and using it alone, I don't tend to feel so good about it.

So here goes,

For over 1 year now, I have been using the knottyboy liquid shampoo, usually justrinsingthen drying.,

As the winter drew in, I have added acv wash sometimes, with tea tree and rosmary..

This is still not helping myflakiness. So I am wondering if I should invest in some almond oil or get a Dr Bronners soap here

http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/OLAL16/AlmondOrganicLiquidSoap.htm

Which has a lot of lovelyingredientsin, Will this help do you think?

Cheers

Help on washing.

Dread Maintenance

I have been using knotty boy peppermint liquid shampoo, and have loved it to pieces for the last 8months.

Introductions and a BUNCH of questions.

Introduce Yourself

Loosely backcomb will do nothing really, personally i would do the job properly, backcomb to make tight clumps of hair, or go completley neglet,

I liked the beenies [its acrylic here in the uk] However i now use a crotchet wool tam.

No one has mentioned sea salt spray!! the best thing i have dsicovered for dreads :)

want the tips to dread

Dread Maintenance

i would just backcomb the ends, I do it when some come undone.

it wont blunt the ends, but make the pony tails dready

Does section size and shape determine loc size and shape?

Dreading Methods

i would LOVE shrinkage!! it is a definate indication that the dreads are dreading!

I started short [3-5"] and i am going to have them for the foreseeable future. that way i go on a complete journey of short to long
