to bang or not to bang?

Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

I left my bangs in the front. Sometimes I feel like I should dread them, but so far I'm not 100% sure. I do feel like right now..in the baby dread crazy phase they do help my hair look alittle nicer and cleaner.

Thanks to my son..who loves pulling keys off my laptops keyboard..I am missing my capslock key, both shifts, the tab, the b, the v, and the z keys.Ohh..AND the space bar key!!! So I have to press the little tiny buttons underneath where the keys once were. It sucks! And causes alot of errors. Usually it takes me quite awhile to type something out correctly haha. Funny discussion

Yea..I considered all of these things but it really doesn't look like lint..it's more like tiny bits of residue..maybe dandruff but isn't dandruff really just at the top of your head? This stuff is at the ends of the dreads. And inside..although I am trying not to inspect too much because I don't want to undo any of the knots. I am thinking maybe SE is right and it could be the roots of broken hairs but I didn't think I was rough with my hair at all..and wouldn't I have noticed the spots before now? Who knows! Haha..thanks for all of the ideas though

Hey guys..I did twist and rip 3 weeks ago and today, for the first time, I noticed little tiny white specs in my dreads..It looks as though maybe I just didn't wash my shampoo out but the last time I washed my hair was monday and I have rinsed my hair everyday since then. So I don't think its the shampoo..I use dr. b's by the way..the teatree kind. I really don't know what else it could be. Any advice or ideas? Thanks

I am newish..a few weeks. This site really isn't too easy to find. I think I found it by searching how to wash dreads. But..I found it the day before I was going to go to a salon to have dreads "done". Sooo happy with this website!

Mine are not even 3 weeks old yet so I am no help to you but I do think they don't look that bad..especially the last picture. I bet alot of these guys on here will just tell you to wait it out

I love my son. My husband. My mom and the rest of my family. My friends..especially my best friend julia who has always accepted every single part of me without an ounce of judgement.. life..music..bob dylan.. tom petty..concerts..dancing. singing.. a group of friends all singing together haha.. reading a really good story that makes me want to stay awake all night to finish...good lyrics.. people who can play intruments really well.. camping and campfires.. food especially candy and anything sweet. I love feeling happy. Having a clean house. I loved being pregnant and now being a mom. I love finishing an exam and feeling accomplished. I love making good friends..traveling..being able to live in different places. Etc Etc Etc.
