I'm going to suggest you stay away from the wax..the best thing is to just not use anything at all on them and just let them knot by themselves and go with the flow. only thing you should be doing is washing and separating every once in a while.
i did them the same way as you, and they did loosen up a lot over the one month i've had them for, but they haven't completely fallen apart, and are dreading normally, so i wouldn't be worried if i were you ;0
not sure, but i separate every morning because my hair is really short so it congoes very easily :p
thanks, baba fats already has sent me the video where he shows the damage done to his dreads by palm rolling, and i've almost stopped doing it completely thats why i said she should only do it for a very formal event, i did way too much palm rolling in the first days, and i've seen it can easily get out of hand and be damaging..a few of my dreads already got skinny roots, but since i stopped while i'm still early in my dreading journey, i'm sure they'll repair themselves

Don't palm roll at all, Read posting by Baba Fats and what happened to his due to palm rolling. It weakens the dreads and down the road when they get longer they start to break off. Have healthy dreads and DO NOT PALM ROLL...peace

Whatever you do please don't crochet..its torture to your hair..just have patience and (judging by the pictures) it wont feel so long until they look tidier by themselves

well tnr may speed the process up..you can just do a few like you've been doing and experiment and see how they come along, or you can just do it little by little whenever you're bored. that's what i did, but i always planned on doing a few and ended up going for hours, so i finished tnring all of it in like 3-4 hours :p
i'd tnr all of it and just let it do its thing after that. but it all depends on what you really want it to look like and how patient you are :p
Yup mine have loosened up as well, but i'm okay with it i'm letting them follow their own pace, and i truly feel they're doing a great job so far. i only palm roll when i need to go out looking neat (for some special event etc.), otherwise i'm not doing anything except for washing and ripping :D
I've already used the bs wash once, and it really did felt great. I left the bs on my head for 15 minutes, and it worked pretty much perfect, so I'm sticking to that timing :p
thanks a lot, it hasn't even been a complete 2 weeks yet and i'm already loving it..i just cant imagine how much more i'll love it the more time goes on peace and love back to you!! :D
Yeah I can't wait for my hair to get longer, at least to my shoulders, but i guess i should forget about that, since i've been told to expect a lot of shrinking for the first 6 months-1 year
i thought about biotin, but i'm afraid it'll cause general hair growth all over my body and i don't want to get too hairy hahaha
