Some of my roots on my dreads are thin and the root isn;t dreaded while some of myother dreads don;t have a root problem. I'm afraid the ones with the thin roots will fall out!!!! Also I have some flat dreads on the back of my head and the roots are roundbut as I go down the dread they flatten out and I don't know if its an illusion or not but on those dreads the roots seem thinner. Is it just because the middle to end of the dread is flat so it's wider than the root?? I also did use a crochet hook when getting dreads and I've had my dreads for a little over a year and 2 months now but I have stopped using the hook and I'm letting my hair do what it's going to do. I just need to know if there is anything I can do for the thin roots.

I have a dry scalp so I have some dandruff but it's going away because I use tea tree oil butI also have buildup on my scalp. It's super super gross to me. I HATE it. I've lloked up how to get rid of it but the some sites say to lightly condition and use less shampoo and hair product because that causes buildup,but I have dreads so none of that applies to me. I don;t know how to get rid of it. HELP!!

I think I am being overly paranoid I posted another picture and this is just after I rinsed them. Is the root suppose to look like this?

My roots are not dreaded for about and inch and a half 2 inches should they be like that and will it dread eventually also if it isn't suppose to be like that what can I do to fix it. I have a picture of the top of my head with my dreads up so you can see what im talking about. But it's a little had to see.

I have a ton of loose hairs underneath some of may dreads and some are about an in and a half when I wear my hair up they stick out what can i do to fix that also where my hair isn't dreaded near the root it some of my dreads are thin I have pictures of a few like that and as they grow im wondering that they'll start falling out. I also posted some pictures of the loose hairs you can kinda see them.

The roots of my dreads is just non dreaded hair. What should I do to make it start to dread. And I have some flat dreads in the back of my head what should i do to make them round if anything at all.

If I wrap my dreads in thread so that my hair doesn't show and I keep it in for a long time will it start to smell and stuff when I wash my hair?

I have had my dreads in for about 6 1/2 months but the top of my hair is not dreaded I used the backcombing and crochet method to make them and I NEED help on what to do to make the top of my dreaded too!!!!
