COME HELP ME WITH MY JOURNEY AT THE OKANOGAN FAIMLY FAIRE 2012

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

that'd be cool. looking at prices I'd probably only be able to afford a day pass (and gas, of course)random question, Mons... Did you used to work in the dot com department at the Canyon Rd Safeway in Puyallup?

COME HELP ME WITH MY JOURNEY AT THE OKANOGAN FAIMLY FAIRE 2012

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

I didn't realize this is in Washington state. If it were closer to Bonney Lake I'd totally go but I don't have a car :(

Question?

Dread Maintenance

those are probably the sides you sleep on. sleep makes pretty good progress. you could try sleeping with a wool tam on your head or just sleep on the other side of your head.

question about wrapping

General Questions

So I plan to put a few cross wraps in my hair today and I was wondering if I should wait for my hair to dry first. My sections are a little easier to find when my hair is wet but I don't want to mess anything up.

what has been the best part of your journey?

General Talk

Oh, I also agree 100% with Robyn. I sometimes used to stay in the car when my boyfriend and I went grocery shopping because I was having a bad hair day. Now, I proudly let it fly!

General Talk

My favorite part so far is the opportunity my hair has given me to spend quality time with my boyfriend. He helps me separate and soon he'll be helping me wrap and decorate :)

Why knot? (pictures at bottom)

Dread Maintenance

I'm having a similar, if not the same, problem. For the last 10 years I've been cutting my own hair by gathering it in a ponytail on top of my head and cutting which has lead to a lot of layers with different lengths. Right now the top layer is the shortest at about 6 inches and doesn't seem to want to do anything at all. It won't even section and it's frustrating to the point I've considered TnR-ing it but I don't want to reset any unseen progress that might be there.

Am I doing this right?

Dread Accessories

So wait, even though my dreads aren't formed I can start doing wraps on some of the sections?

i don't know if it will actually help but you could try using hot water with the bs then switching to cold water (after rinsing out the bs mix) for the acv. it's how i do it and my hair and scalp love it.
