Just a question about this soap I bought.

Dread Products

No I dont know the ingredients.. but they assured me it was all natural no chemicals or any crap.. and yea, its weird the BS didnt get it out.. I think I probly will stick with it for a while and see what happens, if i get any residue.. maybe just do the BS rinse every 2 weeks or something.. thanks for the advice though!

Just a question about this soap I bought.

Dread Products

Hey guys, Just wondering about some soap. There was a big yardsale yesterday and this lady was selling all natural hand made soap, made like 10 minutes away from my house. It's a teatree bar of soap, as i said all natural and residue-free.. I usedit on my dreads last night (i usually use BS&ACV) So I thought Id try it and when I rinsed it out the water was kinda murky, which is a good thing right? Anyway just wondering if this soap would be ok to use on a regular basis, or if soap bars have to be specifically for dreads.. It doesnt feel like it left any residue in my hair either.. it actually feels cleaner than when I used the baking soda rinse.

White gunk on scalp, Dry skin? Baking Soda? Help!

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

I had/have the same problem, I recently bought an all-natural handmade residue-free teatree bar of soap and used it once.. when i rinsed the water was murky and seemed to take most if not all of that white gunk on my head out.. not really sure if I should be using that tho as its not specifically for dreads.. but maybe try a different type of washing? a bar of dread soap maybe? And just do the BS&ACV once every 2 weeks or something.. thats what I plan to do anyways.. not really sure if any of this will help you but i hope it does!

That makes sense.. and you use that to wash hair too or is just baking soda and water good enough, cause I dont have apple cider vinegar

Question on Sectioning with twist and rip

General Questions

So I also did twist and rip.. not really sure where else to leave my question.. I didnt section my dreads very well, I have like.. 48 i think. theyre pretty small, i love the size.. was just wondering if the actual shape of the sections matter.. some of them are square ish.. some of them are kinda rectangular and some of them are kinda like diagonal, which makes it a big of a pain for separating.. just wondering if its a big deal theyre shaped weird?
