I posted back here about a year ago asking some advice...some natural progress from a shaved head.

Member Journals and Timelines

all were developing at diferent rates but its normal to have 1-3 inches loose at the roots in early months that reduces to 1 inch nearing maturity then 1/2 inch once fully mature and stays around there

Hello my fellow earthlings

Introduce Yourself

welcome

the only thing sectioning and backcombing the roots will do to affect the development is cause them to dread in forced sectioning instead of alowing it to sectuion itself naturaly where it wanted to

7 months dreads!>>>5months crochet recovery;

crochet and dread tools recovery

pics are a bit dark but thats typical

the natural ones are 3 months the crochetted ones 7 months

if you crochetted only the 1 time they take 6 months to recover typicaly

so the natural ones are 2 months ahead of the crochetted ones abbount

if u crochetted alot that can mean the crochetted ones can take a year to catch up
