jah levi was there at the time his dreads were about as long as mine are now mine were just starting and we talked about his dreads and i dont remember the exact words he used but i remember it was something about ignoring the hair and paying attention to the spirit instead would make your drads grow long healthy and strong
several months ago we reconected on faqcebook and i was surprised to find out he remembered that conversation at that party so long ago..lol

and in india there are many with far onger then hers that simply dont v=care about records
they retired the category since it was too hard to determine if the hair was continuouse root to tip
theres a lady with 17 foot dreads who has the record even tho a VIETNAMESe dude with 1 mega dreads has longest hair at well over 20 feet
