i'm back... ; )
Introduce Yourself
awwww
and great to see u back
dont look crochetted to me tnr possibly ..possibly natural but dont really think so they do look to be palm rolled alot tho
are they visibly thinner or just feel thinner a 1 inch dread can feel 1 mm at the roots when pinched since the roots arent dreaded pinching it ca n flatten it to the width of a singl,e or few haitrs
chances are it just feels thinner the others maybe broke due to the combing?
can u post pics?
couldnt tell ya if its ok or not but well amway is notorious..nobody has ever made money off amway but amwau i remember my parents falling for Amway when i was like 6? we had a garrage full of it that we couldnt get rid of i cant remember since it was so long ago but pretty sure they went way into debt as a result
i wouldnt use anything from knottyboy the shampoos harmless (the same cant be said aboit dreadheadhq!) but till they stop destroying dreads with wax they should be boycotted www.dreadlockshampoo.com is a far better alternative and wayyyyyyyyyyyy more ethical
that being said your always progressing as long as uoit not combing
+best tip avoid negative ppl and ignore negative comments
howed u try to do them and why were they unsucessfil the worse mistake u can make is to get them done professionaly
u say almost a year but they dont look fully mature some take longer then others i think several more months will help
when i say you dont do alot of maintenance that means your doing some..what are you doing
separating and washing is all they need
if u use the bars try the liquid awhile
or add the pink sea salt

Thanks for the quick reply! I wash with all natural dreadlock shampoo from http://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/
And yes my dreads have been maturing pretty slowly since I do not do a lot of maintenance aside from separation. They still have a long way to go.
I've had them tied up for 4-8 hours a day because of my job. This probably hindered the process because they did not have the opportunity to move and knot. But I have been leaving them down a lot more recently. I will stop tying them up for a month and see how it goes! Thank you.
