Backcomb I suppose, if you have to, but I wouldn't recommend anything but natural.
Something I am very curious about. Has anyone who is white/hispanic/asian anything other than black had issues with black people over their dreads?

What helps me is pushing most of my dread onto the top of my head in the tam then it doesn't tend to fall of as much unless I'm asleep.

I just started dreading and I have to stick my hand up there every once in awhile because hair is coming out or sliding forward down out of the front of the tam but that's the worst mine gets.

just figure, if it's only damp at the most after drying you should be fine. yeah just don't put it in a hat or anything. i made that mistake once.
