Dread beads?

So I want to put these beads I got onto my hair but I've only been dreading for about two weeks naturally.Will it help to put them on, not-completely-locked, strands of hair?

i started my very 1st few dreads by just jamming some beads on perfectly undreaded hair ..granted i hadnt combed it in a week or so probly and im not even sure if i was trying to dread or just wanted the beads in my hair but didnt take long for it to dread from there

how do i keep them on if the hair isn't dreaded?

pull enough haior thru to fit snuggly and jam it up till it sticks
