Back Combing and Palm Rolling

Dreading Methods

They will be fine in time. They may untangle, they may not. It depends on how tight u backcombed(hopefully not too tight??). Did u use wax or not? If so read up on what to do to remove it. If not Just make sure u leave them alone from now on. Don't re-backcomb that would cause a lot of damage. Right now what you have is an outline of where your dreads will eventually be. Don't worry or stress they will be fine if you just let them be! Many Blessings

dreads and stereotypes

Life Issues Facing Dreads

hey now! i spent a good amount of time in my life "following bands around" and got to see 48 states, meet the most amazing people/phamily I've ever known and experience the beauty of life in an eye opening way! Hubby and I are taking our kids for a little 2 week taste this summer even. So don't knock it till ya try it! Stereotypes suck. Much Love & Many BlessingsMetalhead Fred said:
I have a college degree, but due to the state of my countries' economy and the small shit hole town that I live in, I'm currently unemployed. I make a small bit of money repairing laptops/video games consoles.

If you want to see a true stereotype, check out the film "Dreadheads, A Portrait of a Subculture". Almost every person they interview comes across as a moron who has nothing better to do other than get wasted and follow bands around. Plenty of "labels" for you there.

i would just really be sure to wear them in a low ponytail and down/in a hat ANY other time that u can. My last set i wore in a higher tight ponytail ALL the time and they formed in a way that i couldn't wear them down comfortably(after a year and a half). It was weird and maybe it was just me, other people may be fine doing that. A low pony at your neck should be no problem though. <3Jake Holland said:
I'm also worried that I have to wear my hair up in a ponytail at work. Is this going to cause me any issues with my locks being in their infancy.

Oh WOW what an improvement! They look great now! Have you sent this timeline to Johnny (waxy) clean?? Might be interesting since he claims no one ever complains?!
