Yes sadly I have seen the horrible ways we treat the slaughter animals..disgraceful and uncivilized. =(

I'm not saying plants have exatly the same consciousness, just like humans have a few more layers than animals. But plants sense pain etc for sure and send chemical messages to surrounding plants when they are hurt etc.

that's applicable to vegans not vegetarians and also it's easy enough to supplement b-12 if u are vegan...no argument there really

really? have you seen the conditions animals are living in before they are consumed??????? how can you say that's not inhumane?? I don't buy that plants have the same consciousness as humans or animals.

Maxe said:
I just think the main issue is how we treat the animals until we eat them, everything in the universe is consciousness in one form or another..so not more inhumane to eat an animal than a plant.

Okay as far as canine teeth go - they're simply called canine teeth they do not function as real canine teeth - do the research.

If you compare the anatomy of humans vs carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores you will see that we share the most in common with herbivores including.

Intestinal tract length
Stomach Acidity
Saliva
Shape of Intestines
Need for fiber in our diets
Cholesterol being bad for us
Flat front teeth
Lack of claws
Facial muscles
Jaw type, joint location, and motion

as well as a bunch of other things

does it really matter what we're designed for? In this day and age it really doesn't matter eating meat isn't necessary regardless. Some of us think it's disgusting, inhumane & bad for the environment and some don't care. It has zero to do with dreadlocks and everyone should do whatever their conscience (or stomachs) tell them to. lol!

you're gonna have to let some of that OCD go! Don't cut the ends it looks pretty funny in my opinion! If they want to blunt themselves eventually they will if not they'll stay wispy and dry faster. My husbands tips naturally blunted on their own after a few years but everybody's different. I think curly ends look really cool!

i would let your hair section naturally IMHO. Forced sections tend to look funny and sometimes show lots of scalp. If you let your hair show you where the natural sections should be it will look better. I am partial to natural dreadlocks myself, so you could always just leave your hair alone, but if you want to use a method other than neglect, t & r is the way to go. Just don't do it too tight or they end up looking more like braids than dreads. Don't brush it for a while then you should be able to see where the knots want to form and t & r in those sections. Rip apart if the sections get too big. Joe muir said:
Well thank you, Im glad to hear that. It took me an hour to do that. My hair is about 13" and I just did it on the inside to hide it if I screwed. I can just imagine how long it would take to do the longer parts. do you recommend sectioning off or just winging it?
