no idea what to do at this point

Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

so my hair is obviously locking because its a ton shorter then it was when i first started meaning i havent a clue as to what to even do with it anymore. im a huge girly girl when it comes to hair and makeup so me not being able to do anything is really making me miss my straight long hair. however, the first time i had locks and took them out it was instant regret so im not going to do that this time. i know once they get long and what not ill be able to do a lot more with them but for the time being im asking all of you for help. i will post my picture to show you how short they are not and if you could please please please give me suggestions on what to do with it it would be so much appreciated!!

lolby a little i meann i thin ive only did it 2ce. there are actually 2 fully dreaded ones that i did in the very very beginning when i was only going to have a few that are done fully by crochet and they are actually my facorite ones. they arent to hard and they seem to be pretty healthy which is why im a bit confused. honestly thouggh i havent crochet them a lot at all and now that i think about it i don't even thenk ive touched all of them with the hook. just part of the dread that had the loops in it. i will do what you suggest though and hope for the best!

im sure this topic has been posted many times. but for some reason im having a hard time finding the answer. im sure its just me. but anyway.im pretty sure in about a month or less my locks will be one year old! knowing that i understand as well that i still have a long way to go until they looking 100% amazing. i have a few questions. and i apologize now for being annoying because again. im sure this has been answered many times.1. i would like my locks to bit a bit fuller. i could however be misinterpreting that with the fact that my locks have a bit of character to them. which i do like however, i think i would like them to look a bit nicer. they have some loops and what not in them. that will go away after a few years of having them though im guess?2. i think another thing i need to do is conditioning my hair. to make it more healthy so they will grow. im going to pick up some tee tree oil and what not but are there any tips on what i should be doing. im open to anything. i guess to make this more basic is exactly what the topic states. i would like fuller, healthier locks.=] thank you

oh how i miss nice smelling hair.

Dread Products

well for one i think a congrats is in order for my beautiful almost fully locked hair =]. its about 11 months since ive brushed it and honestly i couldnt be happier. ive said it, but it needs to be said again. i love seeing the change in my hair almost every single day. and honestly i really did think id miss my poker straight hair once again like i did the first time around, but doing it this method, keeps me occupied almost. i never get bored with it! so thank you for everyone who talked me into doing it this method because i couldn't be happier with the way its turning out.

mmmmm pink dreadlocks =]]

that being said. being a cosmetologist, i do miss the smell of my own hair. AG products. mmmm ooooh do i miss that smell. so my question to all of you is, is there any professional product (doesn't have to be a shampoo) that i could use in my hair? mainly for the smell but obviously if it betters them would be even better. im afraid to put anything in my hair other then dr bronners peppermint soap due to being petrified of mold or them softening. that would break my little heart!!

if there isn't, is there just a spray or something that i could use to just give it a nice smell? i would even be 100% for making my own!!

any suggestions are welcome of course (but please be nice. i am still fairly new at this!)

thank you!!!

starting dreads advice?

Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

well i mean.. the the thing is. is i don't yet have dreads. im in the process of starting them. again i gave myself a few little ones in which im going to bleach and dye possibly. BUT the front of my hair is not dreaded.. which is where i want to dye. the thing im worried about is because it isn't dreaded and i havent brushed it or anything. im afraid my hair is going to loosen up. which is why i was asking for advice. lol. ive had dreads in the past and bleached, dyed them and i never had a problem so that im not worried about. i do hair, so i know that bleaching and dying sometimes softens the hair and loosens it. which is why im a bit worried. but i also know that my hair is already dry considering i havent used conditioner or brushed it almost 4 months sooo. it may even dry my hair out a bit more. lol see this is very confusing. i mean...i don't even trust MYSELF to do my own hair and this is what i do with my life!!! lol. i think im probably going to just chance it and hope for the best. im just going to be extra extra careful and take my time. =]
