ON A FUNNIER NOTE someone said something about frankenstein and attaching a dread.it reminded me..My ex boyfriend had an some crazy stalker chick who ran up on him one day and cut of two of his dreads. His dreads where like 5 years old at the time he was pretty pist. So he saw her a couple days later and chased her down and found that his dreadlocks, where in fact attached to key car keychain. ( ahhahaaa. i know.) so he took them off and had an the lady who actually backcombed his dreads for him.. sew them back in.. with some type of plastic string. You cant tell in site, but by touch I can feel that spot is loose and such..But idk. thought that was funny. thought ya'll might agree..

I washed my hair but forgot to rinse??? wut should i do

Hmm.. I have a couple of those.. Nice to know..I guess as dreads mature they just wanna bulge here loosen up there push out there.. and over time they will just dread and form the way they wish.Patience is a Virtue

Oi. Yes when I got my dreads I was living in Humboldt County- Eureka to be exact. So like 2 out of 5 people had dreadlocks, and even if people didnt have them they sure did see them on a daily basis.When I moved to Colorado I started to notice the stares more.. And to be honest its a lil funky at first but a month or two later its really like you dont even notice it.Although there were a couple people that would stare and than i would look at them and than look away and than look back.. And there they were.. Still Staring. Thats usually when IM just like can I help you?That might sound a wee bit rude.. but I really dont like when people stare for too long.. lol..

I found if I put them in a lose ponytail to sleep in, the dreads would rub against each other and make them tighten up quicker. I still wear them in a lose ponytail to bed now. Make sure it is lose enough so that in the morning many have escaped. Also, be sure to use a band that is natural fiber with no metal bits on it. Hemp hair bands are the best if you can find them.
