right ive had my dreads coming on 2 months now,, they still loose and fuzzy but i love them ,, they are gettin tigheter tho,, i was using dreadhead soap watered down but have just used the baking soda wash with lemon juice mix after i love how they feel now and definatly feel alot cleaner than with that shitty soap lol,,, i just used baking soda and water then lemon juice and water,, anyone got any tips for what else to add to the rinse :D thanks guys

im from scotland so u can imagine how i pronounce words,, before anyone says we dont all wander round saying, ach aye the noo,, :P,, but words like 'everything' me and most of the people in my area say 'awhing' ,, then you get phrases like shya hoore sire its affa cauld

yeah i have noticed a fair bit of change in the last few days,, took the bands off on monday and already they feel soo much nicer eh put the wax and that in the bin,, now using the dreadhead soap but watered down cos i have it here ,, suppose everyone goes thru this stage eh ,, part of the fun when u wake up one day and look in th mirror and they look better than last week :P haha

right i wish i had gone for the neglect method but fell into the trap so i have backcombed hair now,, ive removed the bands and the wax that was in a few of them,,, but my dreads have"tails" where the bands were like hair that hasnt been backcombed,, will these lock up?,, also with my hair in the backcombed dread way will it still lock up if i leave it alone from now on?,, they have been in for 2 and a half weeks now

cheers guys yeah i feel like it anyway i meanpeople must have complained before eh so there must be so many unhappy customers that fell for it and then found out diffrent,,, cheers guys il make up some soda mixes and see what goes

right for the now im using dreadhead shampoo,, id rather use the baking soda method cos ive just had a relapse with ma dreads cos fell for the "kit" but its shit so ive decided to give up the dreadhead stuff cos i feel like i have been conned ,, have only waxed once and in small amounts on one or 2 dreads so ive removed laccy bands gonna let hair do its own thing now so my question is ,, how do i make up the baking soda mix and anyother tips on washing and keeping clean :D ,, much appreciated peeps

thanks for you replies guys,,, im just in process of removing bands as i type haha,, does it actually burn like? thought shit dont burn :L hahahah,,, i feel foolish for not researching first eh,, is it okay to keep under a hat while its knotting? cos i gotta wear a hat at work to keep dirt out

yeah i really only waxed once and didnt do them all cos i ran out of time,, so only done front half,,, so if i take my elastic bands out and let my hair do what it wants it should be alright?
