Thank you! :)

General Talk

I too, have horrible anxiety and social anxiety, it's pretty bad and embarrasing. This might sound odd, but when I have really bad anxiety I get a pair of trimmers for shrubs and bushes instead of a electric hedge trimmers. And I start shaping, trimmining the bushes in my yard. It seems kind of tidious, but if feels really zen to me, I can go as fast or slow as i want and shape them how ever i want. Its also kind of funny to hear the snip snip snip thing as Im not use to the sound at all.- this actually has helped me better then riding a bike or throwing ice cubes in the tub. Sorry that was a little longer then i thought it would be.But best of luck to you and I hope you pass your test! : )

Is it possible....

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Dandruff is the shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp, it usually happens from being exposed to extreme heat or cold weather. It could do with how much your washing your hair.I read up on this and found out that baking soda is actually a cure for dandruff along with tea tree oil.

Sperating dreads???

Dread Maintenance

Well how old are you dreads? What method did you use?The reason people rip is to keep from getting congos, a congo is 2 or more dreads grown together at the root it, alot of the time looks like a Y, growing from your head.In the beggining of dreading you could seperate them just to keep them thin or not, its all personal preference. I stopped ripping cause I think it was doing more damage then good.

Ticks and paranoia

General Questions

So this morning after I woke up, my eye was bothering so I looked in the mirrow and I found a tick on my eye lash. Needless to say I hate ticks and it wasn't the best way to start off my day. I'm really hoping I don't have any in my hair, and if I do I think Im pretty freakin screw and will just have to deal with it. any advice any suggestions, besides wear a tam next time im in the woods.

Natural Color vs. Dyed/Multicolored

General Questions

I think you should do whatever pleases you, after all it is your hair. I like both multicolored and natural, a few weeks ago I got kind of bored and decided to lighten my hair with lemon juice and diluted with water. Then after a week I dyed some of them red blue and purple and left some my natural color. Manic Panic doesn't really last to long. When I dye I usually wrap the ones i did with tin foil so they don't drip or get dye all over the place. I would advice either to wear a old shirt you don't want or don't wear a shirt.funny side story- i helped my friend dye her hair blue, but i went some where for 5 minutes and she decided to wash the dye out why i was gone, and did it in the shower. Needless to say she dyed her face blue and most of her body, cause she rinsed it out standing in the shower. Instead of just leaning over a kitchen sink or a bath tub to do it.gotta a lil off track sorry

General Talk

yeah I too have a lot of loose hair, I don't really want to crochet because I think it will do more damage than good. So I've just kind of leaving it alone like se said. if you think about it that loose hair could turn into another dread and congo to an existing dread so that 2 might be come one. Thatd be cool
