I almost completely gave up on having dreads. I thought wax was the only way my stick straight hair would do it and I hated the wax. I combed them out (thankfully did not cut it all off) and just accepted I would have boring hair. Then SE found me on myspace probably thru dreadheadHQ's friends list and I was not on here 30 mins and I was starting to do some minor sectioning and T&R. 2 hours later I had a headful of T&R dreads and here i am 9 and a half months later so grateful for this site and all of you have given me supportive feed back on several life issues and hair questions. General Questions

I got a 345$ ticket for being alone in my car and entering the free way in the car pool entrance becasue it was the only way i knew how to get to the freeway because it was my 2nd time downtown... I literally entered the freeway and passed the cop on her way off the ramp 15 minutes after the "carpool" only time started. She had to strain to see if I was infact alone in my car * said she was looking for children in the back seat* .....I talked to family friends who were cops and they said it wouldn't get appealed because the judge would take the cops side....so i mailed that in 6 days before it was due (because that is how long it took me to get the $ together) and they said they got it a day late (it takes 7 days to mails something to downtown phoenix from north phoenix, i could have walked it there faster) *after they searched for my file becuase they dont use computers?! they told me the probably got it on its due date but it probably sat in security for a day* so that was a $50 late fee which i wrote a letter to the judge to try and get him to waive it but never heard anything about it and because I hadn't "paid" my ticket and didnt show up for court my drivers license was revoked and I had to pay $35 to get it reinstated. California isnt the only one out to make money and now...the speed cameras are everywhere and actually cause more accidents on the freeway becasue people freak and hit their brakes suddenly cuz it snuck up on them and they arent sure if the speed limit is 55 or 65 and so we cruise at 70 and have to slam down to 55. I dont even drive on the freeway anymore. IT's all BULLSHIT Sorry about your ticket thou love... good luck!

If you need a good deep clean sure but for convienence it's easier to just pour on while u r in the shower then having to to the awkward act of leaning over the sink or tub.. unless of course you re doing it in the tub and you are willing to get wet... I supposed once in a while you can do a big soak... the box suggests as a bath soak but not too often because it will dry out skin. but once it a while good for a whole body clean

I referrred two people to the site in the past two weeks one girl whos friend just backcombed but hadn't applied wax yet... I said don't do the wax til you go to this sight it will save you so much money for the future!

I will see she was planning on going to the girl who has maitinenced them for the past year but if her mom and I can convince her with it being free then I think I can def get photos if she is cool with it :P She is sooo pretty in dreads but her scalp is itching her too much and she has been having dreams about brushing her hair for weeks now... she believes strongly in her dreams

I have been talking to or complaning as some (my mother) call it to everyone... I am having lunch with a woman who her and her husband have just opened their own MRI office across the street their idea of how a business should function and how to treat people is my position on it exactly! They are so nice to everyone they will talk to everyone.. my boss literally bolts into her office if she is standing at my desk if she sees someone even walk by but not come in our office. I have to turn everyone even patients away or get the info and play messenger. There is alot I do not agree with on her business practice but if she would just let go of some of it and just be the doctor and treat patients then she would be the most popular foot doctor in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Everyone loves her but when it comes to anything other than feet she needs to just quit while she is ahead.I'm working on a list of the pros and cons and hopefully next week their might be a chance where we don't have patients but she is in the office and I can talk to her uninterrupted. That is part of the issue thou if there is down time with not patients she leaves the office and "runs errands" That or the phone rings or someone comes in. I need to get her out of the office or just lock the door and ignore the phone for a little so we can accomplish a "meeting so to speak" maybe I can pitch that idea to her so we can sit and chat about the marketing strategy and these issues that I am noticing and then it will be formal.... and professional and I can bring my list and make sure we touch everything needed to be touched since I started

It isn't a matter of not liking how she is wanting me to do things tho on some things it is.. it's the repeatedly telling me the same exact info before I even do it wrong, I can do it the way she wants and she will still tell me again the same instructions the next time she wants me to do it. I am just tired of hearing her stupidity when her business in on the line and so is my job... I've been hardcore looking and there isn't much out there that is better than this and so I refuse to leave for a equally worse job with multiple bosses to screw stuff up.. I am trying to start my own business but you can't just jump off that cliff when you have bills that equal your income with zero extra I would gladly do it and just disappear if I could

So for the past year and 4 months I have worked for female foot doctor who is the only doctor in the practice and only female foot doctor in the area. It is just her and I running the practice and of course our outside billing company. She is constantly telling me how to do my job. She will give me word for word (several times I might add) what I should tell a patient or a rep or anyone that dares enter or call our office. Literally it's like she gives me a script of what to say without writing it down. She wastes so much time trying to do it that it takes me forever to get thru a list of things I need to ask her about that I sometimes don't finish it in the 3 seconds I get to talk to her period. She tells me repeatedly how to check on information for something I have don't literally hundreds of times. She writes sticky notes on everything telling me what to do.She is currently only in our office 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) seeing patients. The other 3 days she is working at an Indian reservation an hour and a half away. I am only in the office Tuesday thru Friday (Monday there is a diff doc here that is just renting out space) so on Wed and Friday I sit alone waiting for the phone to ring catching up on my facebook or on here and doing the little work she leaves me with (covered in sticky's and getting texts all day with more details about my job I already know)She is very worried about money and isn't doing well financially ( I know exactly why but she is convinced she can't survive being in the office more that two days a week because there aren't enough patients. I can't leave the non ringing phones unattended so I can't go and market to local primary care doctors. (if I was not in the office on a day we had patients she would either cancel everyone or make me do it *even if I was sick* or see patients but not collect anyone's copay) *she has said once before and I quote "That is stupid I am a doctor, I shouldn't have to collect the co-pay" simply because I had to leave work early (which I rarely do) for a family thing and there was one more patient who had a copay but hadn't arrived yet. She waives bills of patients just because they are "nice" or their husband is sick or they are self employed so they must be poor. She will discount a service before she has performed it and even before she has billed them so that they can complain about it being high.I have told her to just forward all money related questions to me seeing as I want a paycheck and for her to be able to afford to pay me and not cut my hours again...Everyone adores her and she is a very good doctor but she is terrible at business. I don't like having to tell her little white lies and I know I need to tell her so but I am trying to figure out the best way to take care of all the issues at once.ANY suggestions on how to tell her that I know what I am doing you dont need to tell me repeatedly what to say or do. Let me do the job you hired me to do... I don't even open mail for god sake she barely lets me write the checks on the deposit slip but she has to open them first. In my opinion she should let me take care of all administrative work so she can focus on the 5 billion other things she schedules for herself in a day. That is also an issue she over books herself then when something non work related takes presidence over her being in the office I have to scramble and reschedule people. Which just makes them mad. I need to desperately bring it all to her attention with out over whelming her but it needs to happen or she is going to lose her practice. How can I make her see that I know what I am doing and that she needs to let go. It's so hard to explain even the simplest admin or computer thing to her.. This is just the tip of the issues I deal with on a daily basis * could write a novel about the crap I deal with and hear from her that just makes her look so stupidI am at my wits end and need to fix this or I will be jobless... HELP! Please guys any suggestions that aren't just "QUIT AND FIND A NEW JOB" believe me I have been looking for a year

Something I am very curious about. Has anyone who is white/hispanic/asian anything other than black had issues with black people over their dreads?
