What do you think??

Dreadlock Styles and Dread Styling

haha does that not defeat the point in asking everyone if they like the colour? :Pi like the colour. FoxyFresh said:
I think its a beautiful color.. I might do it all over.. I want to so something bold with my hair, its always black and its always in a style that everybody likes.. I'm tired of doing things to please other people, I'm doing what I like, if they don't like it too bad:):)

dreading methods in the order youd recomend

Dreading Methods

for me, i think backcombing method is the best. i used it. it has worked. now im just leaving them to do what thyey want, but seperating them once in a while. im thinking of putting beads in places where there is frizz so that the beads hold the frizz together with the dread. good or bad idea?

Legalize it....?

General Talk

also, there would be no smuggling because people would be able to grow it themselves, and, we wouldnt have to mix with drug dealers and rough people. also, peacefull people who just wanna enjoy the herb would be able to do it without being scared of getting cought by police, because sometimes it ruins the high for people.

Thick Dreads.

General Talk

oh cool. yeah it is an amazing process. im nearly two months into it and im already seeing changes in my locks. i cant wait to see what they'll look like in a year. im never ever cutting them. well done on your dreadlock journey by the way. how long have you been dreading? Didjeridurian said:
Mine were the same when they started. Since I let them go on their own, some split into multiples and some stayed thicker. I love that this is happening because I didnt want them all the same anyway. I've had to do some minor ripping apart with some that didnt quite split all the way but seemed like they wanted to. I started with only like 23 or so because I have kind of thin hair, but I didnt want really thin ones. Now I probly have closer to 30.
Its a really great process though isn't it? Its like watching a young tree take form.

Thick Dreads.

I have 31 dreadlocks and i have had them for under 2 months. they are not thick even though there's only 31. i used to not like the idea of thick dreadlocks but now im thinking that maybe they'll suit me. could you all please post pictures of either a person who has few dreads and they're not thick yet, or thick dreads.thank you all.

Introduce Yourself

of course you should dread. otherwise how will you know what it looks or feels like. you can always get rid of them if you dont like them but i doubt that.
