I started my second set of dreads on January 13 2013
Its time to start a timeline id say(:
I started off with horrible horrible back combing which almost all came out by my first wash then I found this site, and the rest is nature lol
so long story short, most of them all came out but the sections kinda stayed the same but I personally love my locks that unraveled and redreaded them self any advice Id LOVE it
below is pre dreads
below is 2 days in bad quality i know
below is 2 weeks in getting some good shrinking
and 4 weeks
aaaaaand 5 weeks!

Now for an updateeeeee!!
so now im almost 12 weeks!

Between 6 weeks and 11 weeks Ive noticed the hugest change!!
My locks shrunk sooooo much they feel solid yet soft and I recently added knotty boy Tahitian vanilla shampoo bar to my cleaning methods and Im so glad I did it works amazing I recommend it to anybody

NO RUBBERBANDS EVERERR!!! all they do is melt and prevent the root from doing its thing, my head is covered in loopys and I love each one! almost each root has that same issue your describing its all normal and hair naturally dreads its IMPOSSIBLE to actually create a dread by hand in a day

well your tnr isn't technically a dread yet, it will all most likely fall out before you get a second wash done. the loops are a good thing its a part of the dreading process but expect all of these forced dreads to fall out at least partially, leave em alone the crazyness makes the journey that much more amazing, so go natural you wont regret it

regreting those rubberbands
Introduce Yourself
I was under the impression I had to rubber band my love to keep them sepetate now I am feeling the effects and im scared for my baby love): my roots have areas sticking out like a loop and some of my roots are damaged from back combing and I have two roots to one dread on a few please help me fix these issues I can't comb out my head a second time):
