I was talking to some ladies who just had babies and the groups coversation turned to the beginning when they found out they were pregnant and some of the symptoms I heard were things that I guess I have been experiencing. They haven't been extreamely obvious and they seem down right subtle and I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to seem right away.Do they almost seem non-existent and could easily be written off as just normal bodily functions? I am not talking about the blatenly obvious ones like morning sickness etc...What did some of you experience right before you found out. What made you test to be sure. The reason I started looking into it a bit more was because my period ended rather abruptly and for the past two years I have been on BC but could not start up again because I couldnt' afford to go for the exam they required to write me another prescription. I have insurance but there is a really high deductable so I practically pay cash for everything as it is. In the past if I didnt start on BC after I should it would just keep going non stop for about 2-4 weeks MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS!Just wanting to hear about some others experiences and see if I am just imaging symptoms or if they start subtle. I will most likely go take a test to be more sure but just gathering info as wellThanks guys!It probably is just another food baby ;) hahah What can I say I like to eat yummy foods!

if u give birth then you probably were pregi think thats 1 hard to ignore symptombut there are so many easy to mistake symptoms and just the thought that u might be can be enougfh to cause symptoms so just get yourself an over the counter at home test thingy and use it even if u think theres just a slight chance

HAHA of course SE I would Imaging I would know if I am Preggers I honestly don't know how those girls go a the whole 9 months not knowing then just suddenly go into labor on the stupid show "I didn't know I was Pregnant"The plan is to get a test asap but it's rather awkward to do when you are on a trip with your Dad. Next chance I get to check out alone I will get one but not gonna go up there with it right in front of him and then have to explain it all. Both my parents would flip right now if I were pregnant I am sure and I am not even living with them. I plan on not telling them anything until I know for sure I am and if I am not then I dont have to say a thing!

Lemme start by saying I've been pregnant twice. The first time I knew right away achy breasts, tired, missed periods. The second time I got pregnant, 9 years later all that happened to me in the first couple of months was stomach cramps and a little weight gain along with constipation. My cycles are not very dependable so I missed a period and bleed the next month then missed another period. My son came down with the flu and shortly after I started throwing up, my thought was I caught it from him. My alcohol tolerance went from pretty high to none at all and every time I drank more than a beer I puked. I thought I had some kind of stomach issue still. 17 weeks later I take a pregnancy test because suddenly outta no where my sense of smell was like freakin wonder woman crawled up in my nose. Turns out I was pregnant again. So, this is what I have to say. Even if you don't have every sign or symptom take a test and take care of your body. If you still feel that something may be wrong go to the doc/clinic whatever and get a blood test done. My daughter, Corbyn, was born 5 months after I realized I was pregnant and thanks to my creator she was very healthy but things could have gone another direction that would have made me hate myself for the rest of my life.

well I imagine that it's very early at this point so I am not sure when to take the test. My cycle has only been regular the past few years because of Birth Control which I stopped taking around Aug 15th then after about 5 days my period starts and usually will not stop unless I start BC again. This time however I had none to take and my period ended about 5 days after it started and rather abruptly vs. the usual taking 7-12 days total and having it get slowly lighter... it just got light one day then was gone the next...My guess is I should probably wait and see if I miss my next one but... who knows when that will be since I never had a regular one naturally. Prior to BC which I started at 21 I would go 6-12 months without anything but mood swings then a month and a half long period that was super heavy... I just don't know when to expect it! msfunkadelic said:

Good point... didnt even think about that aspect of it... I just hope it can get on it's own normal cycle and I can save the money on BC I will kill someone if it goes back to the nothing then a month and a half long again! ;) Knottysleeves said:
From what you describe, it could very well be your hormones just trying to regulate themselves again after being chemically controlled for......

I did some research and it seems that you get alot of the same symptoms when you quit BC as you do in early pregnancy. Awful trick if you ask me. I will be playing it safe and taking a test for sure if I miss my period that should be happening sometime near the end of Sept but since I have never had a regular cycle without the use of BC I am not holding my breath. I will keep you guys posted either way! Thanks!

^^^LMFAOA craving for milk and sleep. My sister had no idea until the 3rd month because nothing else changed for her (no change in cycle and no morning sickness)so she had no reason to suspect and didn't think to test, but she was drinking milk like a calf, and really almost just milk and nothing else.Go to planned parenthood they'll test you for free and they do a reasonable sliding scale cost on BC, regardless of insurance. I have really good insurance but due to this sexist fascist society we live in they don't cover BC (EVEN GENERIC) so I have to go to PP. It makes me so mad because they cover propecia and viagra according to the list of covered medications (for those balding guys who want erections... I don't see how it's medically necessary enough to be covered any more than BC) /end rant

I was horribly emotional, crying at the drop of a hat. I remember the night before I tool a preggo test saying "OMG what if I'm pregnant and that's why I'm acting this way?" It was the first time I'd thought of it! That was the only real symptom I had, all the others mimicked the beginning of my period.
