Loose hairs getting into the wrong dreads?

Dread Maintenance

So i used the T&R method, and ive had mine for like, a month or something. what i do is i did them, wore my tam to bed, washed with baking soda once a week, and tried to not even look at them. I know it takes time (which im not complaining about, thats fine), but the loose hair that was left after i was done is getting sucked into the wrong dreads. like, ill have a dread diagonal from another, and loose hair at the top of the higher diagonal dread (which should dreads into either the higher diagonal dread or the dread above the higher diagonal dread) winds its way down. that doesn't seem like that should be happening, so i pull it out (same with the other, i try to creat a more circular/square base, but they are all so messy).

Any advice? i wrapped about four different dreads, which doesnt seem too good, because theyre babies and i dont see how they can dread wrapped up, but its so messy that i dont feel i have another choice:-(

Life Issues Facing Dreads

I think the majority of my dreads are about half-2/3 of that. I have pretty thin ones. I just kind of grabbed at my hair (I didn't seperate it before dreading it) and seperated it by how it felt natural, keeping it small.

I plan on washing my hair in two days, and alright:-). I'm just gonna let them chill and do whatever; I just didn't like the look of my dreads falling out and stuff. It more or less looked like loose braids (they weren't braided).

I should probably pay attention more, but...What are the effects of them being too tight? Because the first time, the vast majority of them completely fell out. Also, I have yet to wash my hair, and I think that will contribute to the whole tightness factor.

Life Issues Facing Dreads

My dreads are pretty new, I used the twist and rip method (only one for my type of hair that worked) and I ended up redoing almost every one last Sunday, so they're anywhere from 3 weeks to almost a week. While I try not to pay attention to other people's comments, sometimes it's just really hard (extremely hard in highschool, while all anyone wants to do is persecute for anything different) . Most people don't seem to understand that it's going to take a LONG time for my dreads to legitimately dread. I wouldn't take out my dreads because I'm loving them, I'm loving the journey, and, for me, it's very spiritual. It just really gets me down when people compare my new dreads to fully mature dreads.I guess what I'm kind of asking is, anyone else experience anything similar? In case anyone was wondering, in advance, I'm 17 and a junior:-). And yes, I'm posting from class:-P
