Use the BS/ACV mix in the essay. IF you don't have avc normal white vinegar will do, but use less as it is more acidic. The best thing to do would actually be to buy a clarifying shampoo to get rid of all the residues.

i dont know what do i call the quality of my hair, but i could never really tie my hair into a band, because it kept slipping out. so i read the information you provided and i used the twist and rip method on my hair 4days back. the thing is, it was looking o.k for the first 2 days, but it looks real messy right now., its like i have some hair from every strand coming out, also do i have to tie my hair or something when i sleep? coz everytime i get up it is messier then it was last.

good

it should be

your onlky days in and dreads are born from a mess

its knotted hair that you want to get knottier

do you think its a neat tidy process/

the messier it gets early i[on the better as long as its not 1 big knot and stayes seperated

embrace the chaos cause out of chaos beaury is born

let it get messy it will get neater as time goes on..not days..not weeks but in months it will look great

thanks a ton. i liveIndia and over here dreadlocks is only embraced by babas ( they are spiritual people ) and they are not so easy to find people in urban cities. no salons, no nothing knows about dreadlocks and their maintenance, it was just one place and they too wanted to do some shit with some electronic thing which i was not sure about. i spoke to some friends and kept searching on the internet but most of them wanted me to use some wax, but then i cameacrossthis website, and for the first time i read something which which said - "NATURAL DREADLOCKS"...sir, i am really thankful that you created this page..i showed it to my mother and this is what convinced her to let me keep my new hair. thank you very much sir.

babas and other spiritual people were the ones to really embrace dreadlocks everywhere but then it became a fashion too

for better or worse its happened and cam[nt be helped

but when it did become a fashion not just a spiritual thing salons took advantage of this

but they cant get paid by telling you to go meditate on a moi]untain or fast for 30 days or do any of the spiritual things the babas and gurus did while letting the hair dread so they found brute force ways to force the look without the journey of enlightenment

many of these brute force ways made no sence

that electronic thing well..you are lucky you avoided that the only thing i can think that might be is somethijng someone pattented called a multo]i headed rotating reciporocal umm i forget

basicly it spins around youir hair firing hundreds of crochet hooks through yoir hair thousands of times as it spins

its alot like a haircutr with a lawnmower

mangled destruction

total disaster

ive seen alotta crazy stupid, things done to dreads

although that device was pattented years ago ive only seen it used once

a sal9n bought 1 tried it for the 1sat time on someone that was a member here

ive never seen sun]ch a horible mangled disaster..

you were damn lucky to avoid that
