Welcome. But I have to warn you that crocheting is worse than products. Even worse than wax. wax sucks, but with enough time and a good detergent, it can be scrubbed out. Crocheting completely destroys your hair. With every pass of the hook, hundreds of hairs are ripped into smaller and smaller pieces, which weakens your locks considerably. In time, they can become so weak that they snap off in places. Even at the root, leaving bald spots.

If you only crocheted once, that's good. It'll still delay progress by about 6 months, but the majority of the damage isn't done. It's continued crocheting that will destroy your hair beyond repair
