Off Grid.................Awwwwwwwwwwww : ) My dream in life too <3 So your leaves are already changing? Wow! I thought we were in the North. Lol! Yes, Boston is a very cool place! We have lived here a little over a year. I never liked Florida, we just got trapped there by the bad economy and shear rutness (<that is NOT a word-but you know what I mean) My oldest Son getting a scholarship to Berklee College of Music is what geared us up to get out. He had all the tuition covered with the scholarship, but not the living expenses. He still had to come up with some with loans. We were renting and couldn't afford to keep up 2 places so we sold everything and moved here by the skin of our teeth, seriously. We were the poorest of all our friends and they all thought we were crazy. We did it and it has been the best move ever. Goes to show that where there is a will there's a way. Our whole family has grown in such a positive way getting out of Florida. I love the change of seasons too here! I love the history and the city has a great energy to it. I was born out west in Arizona, and part of my heart is out there too, but I am really loving it here now. I hope you are having a good weekend! : )
I love Love LOVE Boston and actually considered very seriously moving there some years back. I've visited a few times and didn't want to leave. I've been to Florida, too... nice place to vacation I haven't been to Vermont, but I hear it is lovely and similar to the Upper Peninsula, where I live :D
Yes, yes, I live in the Great White North. Our leaves are already changing, ready for Autumn and the snow... Seriously! I love it here though and I think I wouldgo insaneif I didn't live bysomelarge body ofwater and the wilderness at least somewhat close by. I do want to move out of town and maybe off the gridone day;)

It still looks pretty. It looked like a red farm house outside. So you live up in the great North?! My husbands family used to vacation at a family cabin on Lake Michigan. He said the whole area was gorgeous! We are in Boston, but there are so many parks and green spaces here that I feel closer to nature here then I did when we were living in Florida. I will never miss Florida We went to Vermont for the first time a couple months ago which is only a few hours away and we fell in love with it! That is where we will go after our 17 and 21 yr old sons don't need to live with us anymore. Only 630,000 people in the entire state and it seemed like it. There was hardly a car on the road when we were there in the Northeast Kingdom.
Oh how I wish that were the truth! I live in a small town that's stayed50 yearsin the pastwhere everyone lives on top of one another. But drive 5 miles in 3 directions and there is beautiful wilderness and in the4th direction, I can see Lake Superior (Upper Michigan Side) out my bedroom window
