Saw you like quotes and reading. Have you been on GoodReads ? Loads of stuff about books and authors on there. They send me a quote of the day email. Here's a couple you might like:
To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. Oscar Wilde
Life is a shipwreck, but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats. Voltaire
There ain't no sin and there ain't no virtue. There's just stuff people do. John Steinbeck
Oh my, I didn't realize it's been -this- long since I was here. Sorry for vanishing, but I don't talk to anyone here, so I sorta just forgot about my membership until now.
Some of the ends of mine are quite hard/solid. I have tried to loosen them with various conditioners/oils but nothing seems to work. I'm kinda concerned about mold though since they're kind of like rocks on the ends of my dreads and they hold water like crazy but I just make sure to give them a good vinegar soak every now and then and rinse them really well.
Worst case scenario I cut them off once my hair is longer. Probably what I'm going to do anyway since I don't want blunted tips so much. Just need to acquire that length...
Hi valrie,I am doing great! I hope you are too thanks sorry i replied a little late lol

im planning to make the snoods myself.I've already started a couple actually!part of the reason I want to make them is because my dreads are doing the exact same thing! only half of my dreads actuslly fit in the pony tail and sone of those are only held in with a couple whispy hairs. i have to do a lot of tucking to do it and have been relying on headbands a lot lately. Im thinking snoods will be more comfy. I just wish i could have my hair down at work. i like having it free.
