My dreads were started as a symbol of health and rebirth. after going through a battle with cancer (and winning), I grew my hair out for two years and I felt the call to lock my hair due to spiritual reasons. During the time of growing out my hair in preparation for starting my dreadlocks, I was attuned to and learned Reiki (I am a certified Reiki Master and certified to teach it)
