Welcome. Sorry I didn't get a chance to welcome you when you first joined. I was away at a festival.

As soon as I saw your pics, I knew you were from the Philippines. Locks made there have a distinct, winded, look to them. And unfortunately, locks from there are notorious for being damaged, snapping off, and falling apart sooner than they normally would.

I get your reasons for your choice. And I'm not here to judge.

If you have any questions about how to take care of them healthily, let us know. What you here from salons and artists tends to be bad advice. Since they don't learn how to do it at beauty school, and they only get their info from other people who don't know how to keep them healthy and long lasting

oh god yea looks like lots of wax was used

dreads shouldnt look like that

im guesing both wax and crochrt

deont ever go near an "artist" or salon they are suposed to =be messy they screwed u

you shouldnt have scalp showuing thats a singb of a medical condition that will make u bald

so we need exact details on everything they have done and used

like was crochet used was wax used were the dreads flippied thriugh the roots etc

never ever ever go near a salon

is that photo recent? u should not see your scalp like that
