Hi Hippie Moon. You can use a spray to keep the little critters of lice away from your kids. In a spray bottle add water and tea tree oil. I used about 3/4 cup water & 10 drops, but I don't really measure, You can add other oils if you want (I also have peppermint & lavender essential oils in mine). Shake well and spray on kids hair every morning before school. Lice don't like the smell of tea tree, so they stay away. The other children in their class may get them, but yours won't.....peace
Welcome to the community Hippie Moon and to your new journey. To help keep lice away that the children can bring home. Mix about 20 drops of essential tree tree oil with water into a spray bottle. This is good to spray on yourself and your child. Lice do not like the smell and will stay away from the hair..Use the search bar near the top left corner and type in any key words, like LICE, and you will get postings on the subject....Peace
Welcome. You can't "create" locks. They don't take attempts. They take time. If you started them, and they fell apart when you washed, that's normal, and should happen. Starter method like TnR and Back Combing are only that, starter methods. They create a blueprint for where your sections will form. They don't create locks, themselves
