Welcome to the community Jessie. Looks like its time for you to stop being a hairdresser on your dreads and let them journey all on their own. Take up a new hobby with all the spare time you will have...time for creating some crafts!............Did you know that water type plays a roll on what to wash our dreads with? Soft water allows us to use any dread shampoo or bar, but with hard water, many of those same products slowly leave behind a residue build up......peace

welcome unfortunately hairdressers are taught all wrong so ill explain each issue

palm rolling- does nothing good (permenant only effects last hours to a day or 2) can cause permenent harm

root rubbing extremely bad pulls 1/2 the hair right out of the root can cause traction alopecia

capped ends not sure what u mean by capped but blunted ends hold in water causing them to take 5 times longer to dry wich increases mold risk

crochet hook is 1 of the worse most destructive things you can do and delays progress by 6 months if used once a year or more if used alot

gels and waxes build up causing mold and other issues

deodorizing sprays are only needed if you got oders from improper care

Welcome. Just making sure... You don't mix the BS and ACV together, right?
