Hey momma-bear! You really made my day, luv. Thank you for the sweet comment on my piece. Yessssss...that's one of the darker ones. Reflects so much of the abuse and the negative statements I heard growing up with my dad's rage and violence...and the abuse issues from a neighbor. It was like a catharsis pouring all of those statements onto the paper. And my childhood self-portrait just flowed. Sometimes it's so hard to drown out those "negative tapes" that play over and over in the mind. Even now at my age, I still have to keep reminding myself of the message in the loving comment you made. Thank you, luv. I hope you and the little one on the way are having a great, peaceful week x0x0x

Thank you so much for the friend request! I am glad that you stopped using wax!. I only used it once and it was stuck in there for all of these 13 almost 14yrs that I have had my locks. I bought the dreadwaxremoval shampoo through knotty and nice. You are going to love it here!!! Soaringeagle has a lot of knowledge to give as well as a lot of the other dreadies here. nah burningmans waty way way tio expensive and just doesnt have anywhere near as much to offer as the gatherings
so ill be at the gathering and probly thats it
on youtube just now was talking to a guy whos had dreads 10 years and still trying to get wax out

come to the washington gatheringhave your baby thereand no it dont come out its hydrophobic meaning repells waterits extremely extremeluhy hard to remove and has been proven t6o survive 7 years of washings boilings and attemps to remove itthe orange oil based solvents are the best way but vinager soaks excessive heat dawbn dish soap scrubbing (using lots) all can help get some out

u prrobly should do agressive wZx removal wax is pure evil in dreads and extremely hard to get out
