Totally normal. The thing I've learned so far is the best thing for dreads is time. They will all work themselves out and dread up. You're only a few weeks in so you have a long ways to go. I'm almost at 2 months and the ones that fell almost completely out are looping up beautifully! Just keep on being patient

I have the same problem. It's only your hair follicles and nothing to worry about! Like SE said, you're the only one who will notice it since you spend the most time looking at them up close.

Thank you! You know I was so worried when I found out they were going to shrink (also I did not think it would happen this quickly) because I look horrible with short hair. But now that it's happened, I kind of like it! It's definitely different being short with dreads than if it were just short normally. I guess that's another perk of dreadlocks :D

I think yours look beautiful! They're having fun. They always say slow and steady wins the race!

You have some really cool loops coming along as well! I really that the one that looked like the infinity symbol, I think someone else may have said that too haha. But they are beautiful! You're shrinkage will come before you know it, you'll get done washing and rub your hand on your hair and all of a sudden you'll be like wtf where did my hair go?!
