separatings only hellish when they dread super fast. or you totally neglect them for way too long

well most of that is totally normal, though i would recommend the liquid shampoos till mature then bars
the dread caps goofy a waste of money
beenies will slow or prevent progress so ditch that too
when you wash just lather the scalp i scrape at it with my nails then rinse through your probly rubbing the hair around too much
plus putting that silly cap on to wash could be unknotting them too
other then that everything you said is perfectly normal at this stage..you might be loosening them up more then normal..but loosening is part of the early process
its really harsh it exfoliates by actually burning off the top layer of skin making a dead skin paste
dreadlockshampoo has a awesome charcoal based deep cleanse called detox (u have to request it its not on the site yet)
after using it you can suck the water out of your dreads and it tastes filtered and clean (i don't usually drink the water here)
dish soaps..ok if theres no other option but you shouldn't need a deep cleanse unles you get real dirty

well do not use that gel! murays all contain wax..dread killers
you want them getting mashed that's how they compress and tighten
you want no products at all except a good dread shampoo
