Campfire smoke

Dread Maintenance

being a chef I use smoke to slightly dry the out side of meat but keep the inside moist maybe this is what happens smoke also has resins in it making it sticky not so much oily. just thought id add to the discussion

as the resin cools it may shrink giving you that tightening feelingand resin being sticky may help the hair strands stick together betterthe resinin my smoker also hardens as it cools and almost cures hard unlike oils imo

maybe ill smoke my head in some hickory or maple woods lol

peace enjoy the search

If You Ever Used the Crochet Method

Dreading Methods

I dont know any one else but me with dreads so I cant compair my hair to others thats something I believealot of peoplefall into. I thought it was just my hair type.

Ive had almost an entire side snap at the exact spot about 10 dreds in total around 1.5 years ago. Where its thin, I tie now in a knot.. I dont mind the lump they start tho dissapear after awhile better than losing more legnth. I now relaise that this is because one time I got maintaince done 2 girls worked my hair one girl loved to poke the shit out of the dreads she was "fixing" and the other didnt..

I have had my local dreadlock hair dresser do crochet almost every time I go they also tie them evey second time I go and use sissors to cut them when they start to what ive found out the term is congo. Wax also in the first few years. Alsostring tie and needling. Oh and I also went to the "professional" hair dresser to get work done and he re premsolution on them at the base to get them to lock.. waste of time and money!!

Just did my first soda wash n waiting to rinse.. (live)it burns alittle maybe Ill put less tea tree in I also had some citric acid this may be causing it .5tsp in the mix too see if I can remove some wax hidden in there. I read something about lemon juice so see how I fair up.

Sorry to hijack.. just thought Id share my exp

ACV BAKING SODA WASH?

Dread Maintenance

Ive found some ACV at a shop and the bottle says double strength for animal use ie horses... Can I use this?

Also what is the ACV actually doing to my hair why is it so good.

Ive also heard that you can use it in chook/poultry water (totally off topic I know) anyone know what its for?

An apple a day keeps the DR away.... Ive just finished reading a book about ACV, cider and apples in general the DR that wrote the book saysa table spoon of ACV in everything will ensure you dont get a sick. She talked alot about the benefits to humans ingesting the stuff but only one sentence on use for hair and none for animals.

I hope someone can shed some light and sorry for the hijack.... :)
