ya see. that needs to be in the dreaducation i have been doing that occassionally. i will remember that, i wear my tam at school because my hair looks WHAAACk lol. and just a few weeks ago i got all kinda of compliments on my locks, so ya.kinda nappy and gross right now i'll be posting new pix asap

when i let my hair dry should i put the tam or beenie on asap or should i wait until its dry then put it on?

Ya I know, if you had read my thread instead of only reading just my post then you would have noticed that had already been discussed lol. Your bad. LOL. But ya I don't have a tam, so i use a loose beenie, but i'm concerned it will be too restrictive.

thanks so much for the help, it does't seem so confusing anymore. check my day one pic lol, my hair will dread faster than the average straight haired folk ya?

but why before you shower? does it help them lock? i kinda get it, the salt dries the hair, then it gets rougher and catches more friction making it dread faster, but if you just wash it out right after isnt that counter productive?

why do you put the salt in before you shower though? i believe you guys but i just am interested in the science. thanks for all the help :D

I was gonna wash with what you recomended.. so i put the salt in BEFORE I wash my hair? wash it, then get out and wrap it in a wool tam and crash out?

no I'm mostly honkey and native lol. How do you do the sea salt, and wool? try and be specific. only when i WASH my hair, or when it gets wet?

whats a tam? where can i get one? sorry for all the questions but its all kinda new to me. sO i can look up a concoction for the sea salt, but how do i use it while i'm dreading?
