First real recognition by a stranger

General Talk

hahaha! Homeless! ya sometimes my backpack is not taken as a school thing, and more of a drifter thing, especially on laundry day..at the bus stop, with stubble. Total homless guy look.

General Talk

It was wash day, and after a few hours of drying my dreads were loking really nice..

I am walking to school minding my own business when a man and his child are walking. As I move out of their way and pass them I hear the father say..

"Those are some dreads, some real dreads.. "

"Thanks" I say

"Real dreads baby!! Rock on"

=) nice moment.

Naturally occurring dreadlocks a concept difficult to grasp

General Talk

Thats very True S.E. , when they are young everybody and their sister tells you so much crap, from its impossible to racial stuff, but once you start getting nice solid dreades locks those same people are your biggest advocates usually. I always just smiled and said "slowly but surely they will form eventually" ..and they do just that.. slowly, but surely and its blatant. I go to a junior college, a highly diverse one in california, semi-clicky, I rarely get harsh are disparaging remarks, but there were lots of know-it-alls and critics. Now its more people absolutely mystified by its morphing exactly how I said they were. What pronounces it even more is how i see these people a few times a week or month, and some not for 1-2 months at a time due to breaks and schedules.. Its a very humbling and rewarding thing.

i have been using BS with oils for a while now, and today i washed with that method, but for some odd reason the back of my head is kinda itchy, which usually never happens after a wash. i have no more lavender oils now, but still a lot of Dr. bronners. I have never done the ACV rinse, because i don't know whether to do it after or before, and searching for it on this site is not as easy as it seems. Any ideas?
