Just make sure you rinse well, maybe a small amount of ACV rinse usually helps for me.

life expectancy of Crochet'd dreads

Dreading Methods

As long as they are not too tight they should be fine. Don't obsess on the maintenance and they will be ok.

Hey everyone

Introduce Yourself

Just joined the site a few days ago and looking forward to talking about dreads and reading the advice you guys give. I'm 23 years old and live in Ohio with my girlfriend, 1 year old son and dog. I have had natural/neglect dreads for over a year now, but its an ongoing process as we all know. Want to know anything else, just ask :)

have you EVER used ANY dreadheadhq ot knotty boy products?

Dread Products

I bought the comb and shampoo. I used the comb once but ended up giving up on it because I felt that was to much effort for a natural thing to occur. I used the shampoo for a few months and it just slowed the progress down.. after about 8 months I started using BS/ACV and recently tea tree oil and it has helped in so many ways :)
