Maybe ill run out to my car and grab my camera to show you what mine look like! lol Sounds like exactly what im dealing with. I'm trying to just get used to them bc at this point i cant see them turing into a "typical" dread...soooo ill embrace them. Is your hair naturally curly? Mine is, i was wondering if that had soemthing to do with this.

Bunched ends

Dread Maintenance

hey guys! So far it seems like my dreads are coming along well, (losing alot of length along the way!) but ive noticed the ends of alot of my dreads are bunching up into this clump like "thing"...i was wondering if this is normal? Will it eventually even out with the rest of the dread? right now it is about 2x the size of the rest of the dread. Any comments or tips would be great. Thanks :)

Dread Accessories

Maybe you dont need to smooth it out so much, perhaps you just need to coat it with something so it doesnt fall apart. I was thinking even some type of glue that ma make a seal and prevent it from falling apart, but youd need to look into what would be ok to have in such close contact with your hair.

General Questions

Thanks for replying :) Oh i love my dreads, very much.. was just curious how typical this phase is. I have been using bandanas and scarves for work as well, for the same reason... and it also comes off right after work so they are more free. And thanks for the compliment haha, and luckily i dont really care what other people think otherwise id be ubber worried im sure ha. Im so excited to witness this process, its alot of fun so far, enjoy yours as well! And thanks again hun :)
